The Wall Street Journal ranked the Jane Fairweather Team as #1 in Montgomery County, #2 in Maryland and in 2016 she was ranked within the Top 150 real estate agents nationwide. A 30 year veteran of the business, Jane Fairweather is a pillar in the Maryland Real Estate community.

Together with her team of highly specialized assistants and buyer agents, Jane sells an average of 170-190 homes per year. She has been named the # 1 Coldwell Banker agent in the Washington Metropolitan Area for 10 years. Jane has consistently ranked among the Top Coldwell Banker agents in the nation since 1998. Jane’s career sales currently exceed 1 billion dollars.

Jane is a 2009 graduate of Leadership Montgomery. She recently served on Montgomery County Executive Isaiah Leggett’s Economic Advisory Council and was invited by Maryland State Comptroller Peter Franchot to testify in Annapolis in September 2008 on the state of the real estate market.

Jane has given a residential real estate State of the Market speech at the Bethesda/Chevy Chase Chamber of Commerce’s Real Estate Update Presentation for the last 10 years.

In addition to her extraordinary resume, Jane Fairweather also plays an active role in the community through her association with such local organizations as the Rotary Club, the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Chamber of Commerce, Imagination Stage, the Arts & Entertainment District Council, the Bethesda Urban Partnership and the BCC Rescue Squad. She is also Chair of the Bethesda Metro Improvement Task Force for the BCC Chamber and a former Board member of Bethesda Green.

Along with her husband David, Jane Fairweather also runs various programs to benefit the local community, among them the Jane Fairweather Community Service Scholarship Award. Every year this community service achievement award is presented to one student from each of the three Bethesda area high schools.

For 13 years, Jane has mentored a young girl from Nigeria (whose family fled during the oil wars in their country.) Jane considers it a very rewarding experience to play a positive role in a growing child’s life.

Over the past several years, Jane Fairweather has also been responsible for 20,000 residents in Bethesda and Chevy Chase waking up on Fourth of July morning to the sight of American flags in their front yard.


Brooke Heiberger

Licensed Buyer Agent/Licensed Listing Agent

Brooke is an expert buyer and listing agent licensed in both Maryland and Virginia. Raised in Potomac, Maryland, Brooke has in-depth knowledge of the local housing market, especially in the Potomac, Rockville and Gaithersburg areas. She prides herself on providing all of her clients with unparalleled customer service. Her excellent communication skills and attention to detail help ensure that each real estate transaction goes smoothly. Brooke also serves as an active member of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.


Property Management / Licensed Buyer Agent

David Fairweather received a Ph.D in Statistics from Florida State University, and worked for the Federal Government for 19 years as a senior research analyst.

Since 1975, he has created a large rental portfolio of single family homes, townhomes, and condominiums as a Real Estate Developer. In addition, he developed 1,428 acres of land in Chesterfield, Virginia and donated 439 acres to the Virginia Department of Forestry for a State Park.

As a founding Director of Monument Bank in Bethesda, David served from September 2005 to October 2011 as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, and as Chairman of the Board of Directors.

In 2012, David Fairweather developed a solar farm in Worton, Maryland that produces 560,000 kilowatts of power per year - enough power to support 75 single family homes. The power is sold monthly to the Chesapeake Electric Cooperative. David received three Federal grants from the Federal government for this project of more than $600,000 and a Maryland Energy grant of $50,000. David contracts with Sol Systems and sells solar renewable energy credits, quarterly.

Throughout his career, David Fairweather has succeeded as an Associate Broker for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Bethesda, MD and is licensed as an Associate Real Estate Broker in Maryland, DC and Virginia.

Kelly Fairweather

Property Management / Licensed Buyer Agent

Kelly is the Director of Property Management Services for the Jane Fairweather Team. Kelly's daily functions are to service and maintain the rental properties she has under management as well as provided management services to condo associations in the Bethesda market area. She is also the Administrative Director of the team and handles all back office tasks such as payroll, budgets, building maintenance and the supervision of the property maintenance team. Kelly's professional knowledge ensures a quick response to owners and tenants alike. She meets their needs at the highest level, which ultimately maximizes the value of the property.

Ron Ziegel

Property Managment / Licensed Buyer Agent

Ron is a licensed listing and buyer agent in Maryland and the District of Columbia. He has been an associate with The Team since Jane began in the late 1980's. Ron brings considerable knowledge, experience and expertise to all transactions and specializes in the Kensington, Maryland market area.

Sharetta Nelson

Closing Coordinator

Sharetta King Nelson is responsible for coordinating all tasks related to getting Fairweather Team homes to settlement. To ensure a smooth and timely closing, she arranges meetings and attends appointments necessary for a settlement to occur. This includes spending time on the phone and sending emails to a company of appraisers, loan officers, mortgage processors, termite and home inspectors, settlement companies, co-op agents, buyer brokers and settlement attorneys. You will meet Sharetta after your contract is ratified and just prior to hanging a SOLD banner on your home. Sharetta is also an experienced Licensed Settlement Agent in the State of Maryland and a Public Notary.

Teri DeSadier

Office Manager

When you call the Jane Fairweather Team, Teri will most likely be the first person you speak with. As Office Manager, she is responsible for operations and the overall presentation of the office. While supporting the maintenance of over 200 annual listing appointments, she also pulls important tax, community and pricing data from MRIS and generates real estate charts, graphs and reports. She is the first point of contact who ensures exceptional service by maintaining and making team resources available for customers and clients. Teri also assists with designing PowerPoint presentations and speeches for Jane’s many public speaking engagements. Additionally, Teri is licensed in both Maryland and Virginia.
